BIOGRAPHY

Nagy Habib has spent over three decades at the forefront of clinical research and cancer treatment, pioneering advancements in gene therapy. He led the first clinical trials using adenovirus and plasmid for liver cancer treatment and played a key role in developing hydrodynamic gene delivery techniques.

Nagy is the CEO of Apterna Limited, focusing on novel oligonucleotide delivery. As the founder and former head of R&D at MiNA Therapeutics, he helped advance saRNA drug development, now in clinical trials worldwide. He also founded EMcision, later acquired by Boston Scientific.
