Michael Hanson leads strategic accounts in BioPharma at Oxford Nanopore Technologies and works with biopharma and CDMO partners to bring nanopore sequencing into GMP-regulated quality control for mRNA, cell, and gene therapies. His expertise spans long-read sequencing and nucleic acid chemistry.

Michael has over 10 years of experience in next-generation sequencing and nucleic acid chemistry across roles at PacBio and TriLink Biotechnologies. His work focuses on consolidating and accelerating mRNA quality control through long-read sequencing for biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
